Indexing and Abstracting
Abstracting, Indexing and Digital Visibility
JANOLI International Journal of Applied Sciences aims to improve the discoverability, accessibility, and long-term visibility of its published research.
The journal should maintain complete and accurate article metadata, including titles, author names, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, references, publication dates, and persistent identifiers where applicable.
Its digital publishing infrastructure should support stable article URLs, accessible full text, consistent issue archives, reliable metadata exchange, and long-term content preservation.
DOI and Metadata Management
Where a valid DOI registration arrangement is in place, the journal should assign DOIs to eligible publications and ensure that their metadata and resolution links remain accurate and current.
A DOI identifies a digital object; it does not itself establish journal quality or guarantee inclusion in indexing databases.
Google Scholar Visibility
The journal should follow Google Scholar's published technical and content guidelines, including appropriate article formatting, accessible full text, clear bibliographic metadata, and stable URLs.
Inclusion and continued coverage are determined by Google Scholar's systems and policies and cannot be guaranteed by the publisher.
Future Scopus and Web of Science Evaluation
The journal intends to develop its publishing practices and scholarly record in preparation for possible future evaluation by Scopus and the Web of Science Core Collection.
Its priorities should include:
Consistent publication schedules and complete issue archives
A clearly defined scope and a credible international editorial structure
Transparent and consistently implemented peer review
High-quality original research and meaningful scholarly contributions
Verifiable author affiliations and editorial-board credentials
Publication ethics, corrections, and retraction policies
Accurate references, persistent identifiers, and interoperable metadata
Evidence of international scholarly participation and appropriate citation practices
Sustainable digital publishing and long-term access
Important indexing statement: JANOLI International Journal of Applied Sciences should not be described as indexed in Scopus or Web of Science unless its inclusion has been independently confirmed in the relevant official database.
