Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript to the JANOLI International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Applications, authors are required to confirm that their submission complies with all of the following requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the editorial review process.

  • The manuscript is original and has not been previously published in any journal, conference proceeding, book, or other publication.

  • The manuscript is not currently under consideration by another journal. If an exception applies, the authors must provide a clear explanation to the Editor in the submission comments.

  • The manuscript has been prepared using an accepted file format, such as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), 

  • URLs or DOIs for cited references have been included wherever they are available and appropriate.

  • The manuscript follows the formatting, citation, referencing, and bibliographic requirements specified in the JANOLI Manuscript Preparation Guidelines.

  • All authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.

  • The corresponding author has been identified and is authorized to communicate with the journal on behalf of all authors.

  • The manuscript contains appropriate ethical declarations, conflict-of-interest statements, funding information, and data availability statements, where applicable.

  • All figures, tables, datasets, software, images, and other third-party materials have appropriate permissions or are used in accordance with applicable copyright and licensing requirements.

  • The manuscript does not contain plagiarized, fabricated, falsified, or improperly attributed material.
